03 / Comfort
The seat is worth spending time on.
These versions add front-seat ventilation and extra powered comfort adjustments, including lumbar support. Heated front seats are also fitted.
Find support for longer journeys and comfort for different seasons.

Spend a few minutes adjusting the lumbar support. A quick sit is not a proper seat test.
Petrol Deluxe also has heated front seats, but does not get this full ventilation package.

04 / Technology
Useful information closer to your eyeline.
The head-up display projects driving information onto the windscreen. It gives you another way to check information without looking down at the instrument panel.
A handy extra when the display position suits you.

05 / Driving
A better view of a tight space.
Cameras combine views around the car to help you judge parking spaces and nearby obstacles. The “540°” name includes a simulated view beneath the car; it is not a camera that sees through the floor.
More context when positioning a family SUV.
UK availabilityPetrol · Deluxe · Petrol · Luxury · Self-charging hybrid · Deluxe · Plug-in hybrid · Luxury · Plug-in hybrid · Black Luxury
Try it on a test drive
Compare the different camera views during a parking demonstration.
A parking aid, not a replacement for looking around. Camera views have blind spots; dirt and poor light can reduce visibility. SHS-H Pure is not listed with this camera system.

06 / Driving
Help with the pace of the journey.
Adaptive cruise control can adjust your speed to help maintain a selected gap to traffic ahead. On a long motorway run, that means less constant pedal adjustment.
Assistance across all six UK versions.
UK availabilityAll UK versions
Try it on a test drive
Learn the controls on a supervised test drive.
You remain responsible for steering, braking and watching the road. Assistance has operating limits; check the handbook.

08 / Everyday
Space that can change with your plans.
Split-folding rear seats let you trade some passenger space for luggage length. Most versions also have a power tailgate, saving a manual lift at the boot.
Useful flexibility for family life.

Short electric trips. Petrol for the longer run.
The SHS-P combines an 18.3 kWh rechargeable battery with a petrol engine. You can plug it in to replenish electric range, while the hybrid system manages the two power sources.
A way to fit electric driving into a mixed weekly routine.

Work out where you would regularly charge, rather than treating the cable as boot decoration.
Manufacturer claim: up to 56 electric miles WLTP. Real range varies. SHS-H is a different hybrid and does not plug in.
