A model badge alone is not enough to identify every control or charging instruction. Start with your exact car, then find the matching UK handbook.
Identify your vehicle
Use your order paperwork and retailer handover information to confirm the model, powertrain, trim and model year. If you are unsure, ask your retailer to identify the car from its VIN. Keep the VIN private when posting publicly.
Use the official download centre
JAECOO’s UK download centre provides separate manual entries for JAECOO 5, E5, JAECOO 7, 7 SHS-H, 7 SHS-P and 8 SHS-P. Select User Manuals and match the entry to your powertrain. A brochure describes equipment; a handbook explains operation.
Keep a useful copy
Save the correct handbook somewhere you can reach without a mobile signal. Bookmark the sections for warning messages, tyres, charging where applicable, servicing and roadside recovery. Check its edition and ask the retailer about any differences from your car.
Before applying a club tip, check the exact vehicle and software version it refers to. Similar-looking cars can have different menus. This directory links to manufacturer documents rather than republishing them.
