These recommendations come from the founder’s JAECOO 8 wash routine. They are general car-care supplies, not claims of a model-specific test on every J5, E5 or J7. The bucket with a lid doubles as a place to keep the kit between washes; clean and dry it before storage.

THE RIGHT EXTRA FOR THE RIGHT CAR

J5 petrol, E5 electric, J7 petrol, SHS-H and SHS-P are not interchangeable descriptions. Nor does a J7 accessory automatically fit a J8. For fitted equipment, give the retailer your complete version and model year privately, and ask for written compatibility.

Tell the seller whether yours is petrol, SHS-H or SHS-P. Check the actual fixing points and boot arrangement, not just “fits Jaecoo 7” in a title.

Ask how mats, boot organisers or protective covers attach. Check that nothing obstructs pedals, seat movement, airbags, belts or child-seat fittings.

J7 towing checks →Who will fit it?
For wiring, towbar electrics or hardwired cameras, discuss the installation method with a competent fitter and retailer. Keep the invoice and any approval details.

Are these accessories tested on every JAECOO?
No. The approved care products were used by the founder on a J8. Other categories are buying guidance; we have not independently tested model-specific mats, roof equipment or towbars.
