JAECOO October dealer events: both promotions have ended

The dates at a glance

These are the retailer pages we checked, rather than a complete list of every participating UK showroom. Their publication dates are not displayed, so we show our review date instead of assigning an announcement date.

On our 26 October recheck, the Marshall event address redirected to its general offers and the Endeavour event address to its news list. The links above remain historical source references; they are not current record-week booking invitations. No extension has been verified.

Record Breaking Week: what was advertised?

Marshall and cinch advertised showroom challenges, a leaderboard and chances to win prizes, centred on the JAECOO 7 SHS-P. Their original page named Marshall JAECOO Gatwick, Lincoln and Nottingham, plus cinch JAECOO Bristol and Manchester. The published event wording makes availability conditional; it does not establish a particular cash saving or prize value.

Endeavour’s original Watford page was more specific about its activities: a cup-stacking challenge and a playing-card tower challenge, with merchandise prizes advertised. Those were Watford’s published activities, not a confirmed programme for every other retailer.

The promotion celebrated the previously announced Three Peaks achievement. Read our JAECOO 7 SHS-P Guinness record report for the actual attempt and its conditions. A showroom challenge is a separate activity; it does not establish the fuel economy you will achieve on your own journeys.

Halloween test drives: what were the gift conditions?

The Halloween promotion ended on 31 October 2026. Desira’s published conditions covered completed test drives of an eligible OMODA 7, JAECOO 7 or JAECOO 8 seven-seater during 19–31 October. They limited gifts to 20 treat boxes per retailer, one per customer, while stocks lasted, with no vehicle purchase required.

Those are the advertised historical conditions, not evidence of actual attendance, remaining stock or gift fulfilment. On our 1 November recheck, the retailer page still displayed the 31 October endpoint. A page remaining online does not extend its offer.

The seven-seat wording was specific to that promotion. For an ordinary J8 appointment, compare the Luxury and Executive layouts and book the seating configuration you actually want to try.

Make an ordinary test drive useful

Book the exact model and powertrain you want to try. A J7 petrol, full hybrid and plug-in hybrid are different ownership propositions; our J7 powertrain comparison explains the distinction. For a J8, try the seating arrangement that fits your household.

• Ask which vehicle will be available, how long you can drive it and what documents the retailer needs.
• Take the people and everyday luggage that matter to your decision, where practical.
• Try parking, visibility, seat adjustment and the controls you will use every day.
• Ask about workshop access, servicing arrangements and charging if you are considering a plug-in version.
• If discussing a deal, request an itemised written quote for the exact specification.

Use our showroom finder for location context, then contact the retailer about an ordinary test drive. These expired October promotions do not establish a current gift or event invitation.

Does an event mean a better car deal?

Not necessarily. The historical event pages did not establish a new nationwide vehicle discount. Compare the complete quote and any finance conditions on their own merits, using the JAECOO prices and offers directory for context.

Keep a promotional gift separate from vehicle price, deposit, mileage allowance, finance term and total payments. If you decide to order, the handover checklist is a useful next step. There is no need to let a showroom leaderboard set your buying timetable.
